The Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation of PA
The Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation of Pennsylvania is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization established by the Center for Dairy Excellence in 2010 to support educational initiatives that grow and sustain the Pennsylvania dairy industry. The foundation allows tax-deductible contributions from both individuals and organizations to support educational initiatives within Pennsylvania's dairy industry.

Information Sessions Planned:
The Center for Dairy Excellence will host information sessions in northeast and southwest Pennsylvania in November to share results from a dairy planning survey completed by dairy farm families in the Marcellus Shale region. The meetings will provide an update on current trends in dairy and an overview of the recently-created Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation of Pennsylvania.
These sessions will be held in the following areas with a meal provided:
Northern Pennsylvania:
-- Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Montrose Bible Conference, 218 Locust St., Montrose, Pa. 18801.
-- Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Wysox Fire hall in Wysox, Pa. From Scranton, take Rte. 6 West to Wysox light. Turn right onto Rte. 187 and go straight. Do not follow Rte. 187. Take a left onto Lake Road, and the fire hall is on your left.
-- Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. at the Wellsboro Hotel Restaurant, 62 Main St., Wellsboro, Pa. 16901.
-- Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Pine Run United Methodist Church, 1719 Pine Run Rd., Linden, Pa. 17744.
Southwest Pennsylvania:
-- Monday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m., at Hoss's Steak and Sea House, 1222 North Center Ave., Somerset, Pa.
-- Monday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m., at the Cottage Inn Restaurant, 4554 Admiral Peary Highway, Edensburg, Pa.
