NEDLT

The Center for Dairy Excellence is one of three organizations providing support for the Northeast Dairy Leadership Team, an alliance initiated by a memorandum of understanding signed by the departments of agriculture in New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont in June 2006. The NEDLT’s vision is to be the driving force for a vibrant, growing dairy industry through dynamic regional stakeholder collaboration.

NEDLT Commits to Points of Agreement

During a meeting on February 2 in Binghamton, N.Y., members of the Northeast Dairy Leadership Team (NEDLT) identified key areas affecting dairy policy and pricing where they can come together to advocate for meaningful changes to benefit Northeast dairy farm families.

Northeast Dairy Business Tools Fact Sheet

The NEDLT has put together a fact sheet outlining many of the business tools available to dairy producers in the Northeast.

A Northeast Dairy Benchmark by Dr. Mark Stephenson

Dr. Mark Stephenson with Cornell University Dairy Markets and Policy wrote a 37-page paper identifying key opportunities and constraints within the Northeast dairy industry. The paper was initiated as part of the NEDLT’s efforts to improve the general understanding of the Northeast dairy industry and to better analyze the balancing and seasonality of the Northeast milk supply.
