NEDLT

The Center for Dairy Excellence is one of three organizations providing support for the Northeast Dairy Leadership Team, an alliance initiated by a memorandum of understanding signed by the departments of agriculture in New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont in June 2006. The NEDLT’s vision is to be the driving force for a vibrant, growing dairy industry through dynamic regional stakeholder collaboration.

NEDLT Reviews National Efforts, Identifies Need for Change

The Northeast Dairy Leadership Team met on June 1 - 2 to discuss dairy pricing proposals and national efforts affecting the long-term viability of the region’s dairy industry. The meeting’s goal was to identify regional initiatives to support the dairy sector and collaborate on efforts being discussed at the national level.

NEDLT Commits to Points of Agreement

During a meeting on February 2 in Binghamton, N.Y., members of the Northeast Dairy Leadership Team (NEDLT) identified key areas affecting dairy policy and pricing where they can come together to advocate for meaningful changes to benefit Northeast dairy farm families.
